Maintenance tips for each material
- 18K Gold Plated & Vermeil: Keep away from perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals to preserve the integrity of the gold layer. After wearing, gently wipe with a soft cloth and store in a dry, lined pouch to prevent premature fading or surface wear.
- Sterling Silver 925: This noble metal naturally develops a patina over time. To keep its luminous finish, avoid prolonged humidity and chemicals, and polish occasionally with a silver cloth to restore its original brilliance.
- Moissanite & Lab-Grown Diamonds: Both are exceptionally durable and can be cleaned regularly with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush to maintain maximum sparkle. Their brilliance remains unchanged, but gentle cleaning enhances their light reflection.
- Cubic Zirconia: While beautiful, CZ benefits from delicate care. Regular gentle cleaning prevents surface buildup, which can cause temporary dullness. Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals to maintain clarity.
- Natural Gemstones: Care depends on the individual stone. Softer and porous stones, such as opals or pearls, should be kept away from water immersion, temperature changes, and impact. Harder gems like sapphires and rubies can be gently cleaned with mild solutions.
